Olga Lebedeva was awarded the jubilee medal «120 years of the trade union movement in Belarus»

On November 4, the Vitebsk Regional Library named after V. Lenin took part in the XXV reporting and election conference of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism.
The chairperson Elena Sabirova made a report on the work over the past five years. Close cooperation within the framework of industry agreements between the regional organization of the trade union and the main department of ideological work and youth affairs, the departments of culture, sports and tourism of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, public control over compliance with labor legislation and labor protection, assistance to families and veterans, work with youth – these and other areas of activity were given significant attention in the reporting period.
As part of the conference, a ceremony was held to honor trade union workers and activists of the region.
For her significant contribution to the trade union movement in Belarus and the socio-economic development of the country, the jubilee medal «120 years of the trade union movement in Belarus» was awarded to the chairperson of the primary trade union organization of the regional library Olga Lebedeva.
