Regional library is the best in working with young people

Vitebsk Regional Library named after V. Lenin was recognized as the winner of the competition for the best organization of work with young people in work collectives among the cultural organizations of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Vitebsk.
At the ceremonial event «Time has chosen us», which took place on November 5 in the Cultural and Sports Center of the UP «Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Railway», Deputy Director of the library Olga Komendantova was awarded a Diploma.
The regional library is actively working with children and young people, introducing them to books and reading. Library departments hold presentations of new books and holidays for authors celebrating anniversaries, sightseeing tours and intellectual quizzes, creative workshops and meetings with professionals from various industries. School holidays are especially active. Almost 380 children and teenagers under 18 took part in the «Autumn Holidays in the Library» project.
