A meeting of the Board of Directors of public libraries of Vitebsk region was held in the regional library.

The Chief specialist of the department of work of Organizations of the cultural sphere of the Culture Department of Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Zoya Gukova and the Head of the Vitebsk regional library named after V. Lenin Tatyana Adamyan opened the meeting, summarized the general results of the work for 2023 and defined the main directions of the public libraries of Vitebsk region for 2024.

The Head of Vitebsk Regional Legal Information Center Tatyana Adamyan talked about the work of public legal information centers in the Republic of Belarus.

Director of the Regional Legal Information Center of Vitebsk region Larisa Dorogova talked about the work of public legal information centers in the Republic of Belarus.

Director of the Vitebsk Regional Methodical Center of Folk Art Nadezhda Ulinovich focused on the issues of organizing the work of club formations on the basis of libraries.

The program and project activity of the children's library named after V. Korotkevich of the Orsha centralized library system, which was awarded the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Prize for high creative achievements at the end of 2023, was revealed by the director of the system, Oksana Kulagina.

Olga Komendantova, the Deputy Director of Vitebsk Regional Library, talked about the issues of registration of foreign free assistance in libraries.

The event ended with a tour of the exhibition hall of rare books «ExLibris».
