The Vitebsk Regional Library's Periodicals Section presents a new section «We read, are reading, and will read», dedicated to the history of popular magazines.

Each month, we will unveil the pages of legendary publications that captured the hearts of readers over a hundred years ago and remain relevant today.

A fascinating journey through time awaits you: an introduction to the atmosphere of past eras; a retrospective of priority themes, presentation style, and page design; stories about the outstanding authors, editors, and artists who created these unique publications.

This section will feature magazines from a wide range of fields – from literature and art to science and technology. We will tell you how they reflected the spirit of their times and the ideas that inspired their creators.
