The 2025 Petrus Brovka Literary Prize Awards Ceremony of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee took place at the Vitebsk Regional Library on December 24.

The award winners in various categories were Vladimir Mazhilovsky (prose), Nadezhda Solodkaya (poetry), and Galina Trafimova (children's literature).

Tamara Krasnova-Gusachenko, Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Branch of the Union of Writers of Belarus and Honored Cultural Figure of the Republic of Belarus, spoke about the creative achievements of writers from the Vitebsk Regional Branch. Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, wished the writers of the Vitebsk region continued creative success. The award ceremony host, Denis Yurchak, chief specialist of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Department of Culture, read poems by Petrus Brovka. The laureates and guests received congratulations from students of the I. Sollertinsky Vitebsk State Music College.
