Concert Program «Memory In Our Hearts»

The Great Patriotic War is moving farther and farther into the past. The generation that remembers this war is also passing away. But the memory of the people's feat is carefully preserved and passed from generation to generation.
The memory remains in books, photos, movies, stories and songs....
On May, 6 within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Vitebsk Regional Library and Territorial Social Service Center of Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk, a concert program «Memory in our hearts» took place.
The honored guests of the event were Larisa Markovich, deputy director of the Zheleznodorozhny district TCSSON of Vitebsk, Lyubov Gusakova, veteran of the Zheleznodorozhny district organization of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans, Galina Achkasova, chairman of the Zheleznodorozhny district organization of the Belarusian Association of Former Juvenile Prisoners of Fascism, and former juvenile prisoners of fascism.
The concert program included songs about the war and Victory performed by members of the center's vocal group. The dance group «Let's Dance Together» under the leadership of silver-aged volunteer Glafira Melnikova presented «Victory Waltz» to the audience. The theatrical performances of the group «Mirror» have not left indifferent the guests of the event.
The festive concert ended with the song «Victory Day» performed by all participants and guests of the event.
