Presentation of Tamara Krasnova-Gusachenko's book «My native and favorite land»

On December 19, the library held a presentation of the book «My native and favorite land» by chairperson of the Vitebsk regional branch of the Belarusian Union of writers Tamara Krasnova-Gusachenko.
A new book by Tamara Gusachenko is a poetic encyclopedia for children, which tells about the world around, the nature of the native land, teaches how to behave yourself, explains how to pronounce some words and surprises by interesting and unusual riddles.
Welcoming speech gave teachers-defectologists Valentina Baranok and Marina Titovich. They spoke about their long-term work with children, in which a big role played the works of Tamara Ivanovna. The writer Valentina Shirinova congratulated her on the new book.
The boys and girls from the school № 11 of Vitebsk were surprised by the staff of Children's Library Branch № 9 named after S. Marshak. They prepared two small puppet shows based on the works of Tamara Ivanovna «Let's treasure our friendship» and «My house is strong». In addition, the young readers played rhymes, solved riddles and got sweet prizes from the writer.
The children did not remain in debt and pleased Tamara Ivanovna with wonderful performance of her poems and received gifts for that.
The book «My native and favorite land» did not leave indifferent neither children nor adults.
