«The history of the book: a long way from clay to paper»

On November 29, as part of the cultural project «Interlocutor», a literary and educational hour for the 5th grade pupils of secondary school №. 47 of Vitebsk named after E. Ivanovsky was held.
The children got acquainted with the history of the origin of writing, recognized interesting facts from the life of creators of the Slavic alphabet Cyril and Methodius and became participants in an intellectual interactive game. During a tour of the library, the pupils visited the department of rare book, where they got acquainted with facsimile handwritten editions.
