On November, 2 an information hour on the topic «Cybersecurity» took place in the library.
The senior operations officer of the Department for Combating Cybercrime of criminal police Department of Internal Affairs of Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Anna Galinskaya talked about crimes in the Internet and how not to become a victim of scammers.
Much attention was paid to such types of fraud as vishing and phishing. Ms. Galinskaya paid special attention to the crimes related to the theft of funds from the plastic card holders' accounts, as well as talked about the rules of safe use of messengers, social networks and online trading platforms, and answered the questions of those present.
