On October 5, the library hosted a meeting of the methodical association of teachers of Russian and Belorussian languages and literature of the institutions of general secondary education of Pervomaisky district in Vitebsk.

As a part of the library project «Local history meetings» Arkady Podlipsky spoke with a lecture on the Vitebsk literary life in the pre-revolutionary and pre-war periods, book-publishing activities of that time.

The librarian of local lore department Olga Dorofeeva gave a tour of the library for teachers. The Department of periodicals has prepared a bibliographical review of scientific and methodical, literary and fiction magazines.
