The librarians Tatyana Pototskaya and Yekaterina Yaskevich participated in the Research-to-Practice Conference «Syanno District: Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Area» that took place on 1–2 July in Syanno.

The Conference was organized by the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and the Syanno Regional Executive Committee. There were about 50 presentations on the history of the area from ancient times till today, submitted by historians, archaeologists, archivists, museum workers, librarians, and local history experts from Minsk, Vitebsk, Polotsk, Orsha, Grodno, Gomel, and Syanno.
