Historical Kaleidoscope «Thunderstorm of the Twelfth Year»

On June 9, the staff of the General Reading Room held a historical kaleidoscope «Thunderstorm of the Twelfth Year» for the pupils of the summer school camp of school № 28.
Solving puzzles, answering questions of the quiz the guys got acquainted with the historical events of the war of 1812, which are directly related to our Vitebsk land.
The war and all its battles have long become history, but the interest to the events of the glorious era is not extinguished.
The year 2022, declared by the President of the Republic of Belarus the Year of Historical Memory, launched the creation of a new information resource of the library «Vitebsk region in the war of 1812».
During the event Tatyana Pototskaya held a presentation of the new information resource, which will be interesting to all who are interested in the history of Vitebsk region.
