The role of libraries in the formation of eсological culture of schoolchildren

On March 28, the library staff took part in a workshop for educators of after-school groups of Vitebsk secondary school № 40 on the topic «Formation of environmental consciousness of primary schoolchildren in the conditions of the after-school group».

The head of the department of marketing and social and cultural activity Tatyana Luzan made a report «The role of the library in forming the ecological culture of primary school children» .She shared the experience of Vitebsk libraries on ecological education of the younger generation, spoke about the cooperation of the regional library with schools and other institutions that take part in the process environmental education.

A workshop entitled «Flowers» was held for the educators by the artist Anna Labunskaya.
