On March 4, the personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus celebrate their professional holiday –- the Day of the Police, which was approved by the Presidential Decree № 157 on 26 March 1998.

In the Year of Historical Memory, the Public Centre of Legal Information has prepared a video presentation about famous Belarusian policemen, who did a lot for their country not only during the Great Patriotic War, but also in peacetime.
