Magical Christmas tales and stories

On January,3 the staff of the department of marketing and social and cultural activities held a library lesson entitled «Magic Christmas fairy tales and stories» and a tutorial «Decorating a Christmas tree: handicrafts from paper» in the school camp of Vitebsk secondary school № 40.

The staff read books about winter, New Year and Christmas together with the first graders, presented an excerpt from the fairy-tale play «Twelve Months» by Samuel Marshak, watched and discussed the cartoon «Varezhka» scripted by the Vitebsk native Zhanna Vitenzon and told their wonderful Christmas stories.

The event was held within the library project «Literature lessons for schoolchildren: a new format».
