Arts and crafts exhibition «We see the world through our hearts»

Each year art exhibitions of people with visual impairment as well as other events are held by the library along with the regional organization of PA «BelTIZ».

On December 9, the Chairman of the Vitebsk regional organization of PA «BelTIZ» Konstantin Lamchanovsky and his Deputy Natalya Avgustinovich summed up the results of the exhibition which had been open in the library since October 15.

The exhibition «We see the world through our hearts» was aimed at promoting creators who are visually impaired and blind, as also at drawing public attention to their problems. On show, there were artworks made in different techniques such as painting, decorative and traditional needlework, textile arts, weaving from different materials, knitting, quilling, beadweaving.

It is important for any creative person to be able to present the fruit of their labor to the public, that is why that exhibition was a significant event for both its organizers and participants.
