A meeting «Strings of Soul» with Vitebsk poetess Galina Prudnikova

On the 23rd of April in the library a meeting «Strings of Soul» with Vitebsk poetess, a member of Belarusian Society of the Visually Impaired Galina Prudnikova took place.
Prudnikova Galina was born in 1958. In 1981 she graduated from Vitebsk Technological Institute of Light Industry, and then worked at the plant «Megom» (Vitebsk). She had been writing poetry since childhood. But she went into poetry seriously after the loss of vision owing to a serious illness in 2001.
In 2013 she took part in the VI Festival of creativity of the disabled «Together We Can Do More» (Smolensk) and was awarded the diploma of I degree of this festival.
The representatives of Belarusian Society of the Visually Impaired, students of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Psychology of VSU named after P. Masherov, readers and library staff attended the meeting. The head of the club «Inspiration» N. Lebedeva, a member of the club poet N. Ageev spoke at the meeting, Galina Prudnikova and the students - the future social workers recited poetry to the audience.
