Spiritual poetry hour «Good news has touched our souls!»

On March 14, a spiritual poetry hour entitled «Good news has touched our souls! » dedicated to the Day of Orthodox books took place in the library.

The event was attended by members of the Vitebsk regional branch of the Union of Belarusian Writers Tamara Krasnova-Gusachenko, Olga Rusilko, Elena Fedyaeva, Valentina Shirinova, Valeriy Kasatkin.

With a welcoming speech performed pro-rector of educational work of Vitebsk theological seminary Priest Dionisy Andreev. The students of the seminary performed the Kontakion of the Great Penitential Canon «My soul».

The event was held via videoconference. The methodologist of library marketing Department of Slonim District Library Julia Vasilevskaya made a report «The spiritual theme in Russian poetry».

The group «Kovcheg» performed spiritual songs.

The staff of the general reading room prepared a book exhibition «Light of the Orthodox book».
