Spiritual Guide for Teachers: A Conversation about the Saints of the Belarusian Land

A spiritual conversation on the topic of «New Martyrs and Confessors of the Belarusian Land» was held on December 18 at Secondary School № 46 in Vitebsk.
This event, organized within the walls of the educational institution, provided teachers with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the faith in the Vitebsk land and receive valuable methodological materials for working with children.
The key moment of the meeting was the presentation of the multimedia project «Patron Saints of the Vitebsk Region». The head of the general reading room of the regional library, Tatyana Pototskaya, not only presented the electronic resource, but also held a short master class on its use. Teachers saw how easy and convenient it is to navigate through various sections, find the necessary information and use multimedia materials and interactive elements. Tatyana P. emphasized that the resource was developed to make the study of the patron saints of the Vitebsk region more lively and interesting, and this is especially important when working with children and adolescents.
This project is a valuable tool that teachers can use in their daily practice to cultivate patriotism in children, respect for history and traditions, as well as spirituality and morality.
The conversation once again confirmed the importance of cooperation between educational institutions and libraries in the field of spiritual and moral education. Libraries, providing access to unique electronic and printed resources, enrich the educational process, and educational institutions create conditions for the introduction of these resources into educational and extracurricular activities.
