The anniversary evening of local historian Lyudmila Nikitina «The Road of Unceasing Searches» was held on December 12 in the regional library as part of the «Local History Meetings» series.
Lyudmila Nikitina is the creator and director of the people's complex museum «History of Zaronovsky Region», an activist of the search movement, and a laureate of the honorary title «Person of the Year of the Vitebsk Region». She is the author of books about the Zaronovsky region and numerous local history studies.
Lyudmila N. spoke about her publications dedicated to Zaronovsky region, its people, and presented a new unusual book «Funny Stories for a Party: Folklore for the Soul». The collection includes ditties, riddles, toasts, and congratulations that she has collected over many years.
