A Legal Lecture «Under the Protection of the Law»

On May, 7 a legal lecture, «Under the Protection of the Law», took place in the library. Inessa Gornak, head of the notary office of Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk № 1, Natalia Byshneva, head of branch № 202 of Belagroprombank, and Nadezhda Kovaleva, a specialist of the Regional Center for Information Processing in Vitebsk region, attended the lecture.

Inessa Gornak told about the main norms of the legislation regulating the procedure of registration of inheritance rights by will and by law. Natalia Byshneva explained in detail the changes in legislation on social services and social benefits that will come into force on July 1, 2024. Nadezhda Kovaleva told about the state information and legal resources of the National Legal Information Center, which give an opportunity to navigate in the variety of legal norms and their application in practical life.

The specialists also answered numerous questions from the audience.
