On March 13, on the eve of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus the round table «The Constitution of the Republic of Belarus is the basis of stable development of the Belarusian society and state» for the students of MITSO and Vitebsk State Industrial College was held.
The 30th anniversary of the Constitution is one of the important events in modern Belarus. By all parameters, the Belarusian Constitution is the Constitution of a developed and free society, which is based on the principle of the rule of law, clear separation of powers, diversity of political institutions and ideological views. It reflects the experience of constitutional construction of the advanced countries of the world, clearly and consistently sets the basic human values.
The event was attended by Larisa Dorogova, director of the Regional Legal Information Center of Vitebsk region, Vera Shloma, deputy chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Bar Association, and Inessa Gornak, the Head of the notary office of Vitebsk Oktyabrsky district № 1.
The issues related to the historical peculiarities of the Constitution's development and the main provisions of the updated Constitution of the Republic of Belarus were discussed at the meeting, as well as the new stage in the political and socio-economic development of the country.
