Exhibition project «Touch Rarity with your hands! » – is a unique opportunity for readers to hold in their hands and look through rare and valuable editions from the funds of Vitebsk regional library.

There is an exhibition of works «The Master of the Winged Word» in the exhibition hall «ExLibris» to the 225th anniversary of the birth of Ivan Krylov in February.

The exposition presents rare editions of the poet's works of different years. The diamond of the exhibition is a luxurious miniature facsimile collection of Ivan Krylov's fables, published in 1835.

The facsimile almost completely repeats the original: the leather – styled calico binding with lettering, marbling endpapers, triple golden edge, high quality thick paper.

We invite you to touch history and discover new facets of the world's literary heritage!

The project «Touch the rarity with your hands! » is open until February 22, 2024.

From Monday to Friday: 10:00–17:00.
