Information Digest «A Step Beyond the Fringe: Extremist Behavior among young people»

In the XXI century, extremism, experiencing an evolutionary upliftment, has become increasingly influential in many spheres of life of the human community, undermining the stability of existence in the present and confidence in the future.
Therefore, the need to reveal the essence of extremism, to develop a conceptual and terminological range that would allow to define the historical, sociological, political, psychological, informational, power and other aspects of combating this dangerous phenomenon becomes an urgent task.
The Public Center of Legal Information has prepared an information digest «A Step Beyond the Fringe: Extremist Behavior among young people», which presents normative legal acts of the Republic of Belarus and articles from magazines, revealing the concept of extremism and its role in the youth environment, technologies of involvement in the activities of extremist organizations and counteraction to extremism at the present stage.
The publication is addressed to law enforcement employees, students, postgraduates and teachers of law schools and faculties, as well as to all those who are interested in countering extremism.
