The exhibition «Rays of Sun»

Within the framework of the library project «Together!», in the department of periodicals there is an exhibition of arts and crafts of people with visual disabilities «Rays of Sun», timed to coincide with the national month «Man with a White Cane».
More than 15 masters with visual disabilities from Vitebsk and Vitebsk region presented their works. The exhibits were made in various techniques of arts and crafts: weaving from paper vines, crochet, knitting, paverpol, assemblage, wool felting and beadwork.
The participants of the exhibition are talented and extraordinary people who see and feel the world around them in a special way. For example, the paintings embroidered with crosses by Olga Skurchaeva (Orsha branch of «BelTIZ» Public Association) are surprisingly beautiful. Yulia Ardynova, the Head of the arts and crafts group of the Vitebsk enterprise «Elekt» of the public association «BeltIZ», presented the works made in the felting technique.
The work «Angel» by Svetlana Kravchunas was created in the unusual technique of poverpol.
The exhibition is open until December 7, 2023. Everyone is welcome.
