Awareness campaign «Library is a Meeting Place»

On September 14, in the library was held an awareness campaign «Library is a Meeting Place» for the first-year students of «MITSO» on specialty «Jurisprudence».

Within the framework of the action an information hour «On the Way to Unity» took place. On September 17 the Republic of Belarus will celebrate the Day of National Unity. Currently it is the «youngest» state holiday, which has been celebrated since 2021. It symbolizes the solidarity and unity of the Belarusian people, providing the country with well-being and prosperity, emphasizes the continuity of generations, firmness and self-sufficiency of the Belarusian nation and statehood.

Deputy Director of the State Archive of Vitebsk region Tatyana Buyevich talked about the historical basis of the holiday.

Also, within the framework of the action the students got acquainted with the department «Public Center of Legal Information» and its work.

The specialist of the Regional Center of Legal Information of Vitebsk region Marina Mysko talked about the state information and legal resources of the National Center of Legal Information of the Republic of Belarus.
