Charity event «Books as a present»

On March 6, the staff of Lending Department and Interlibrary Loan donated more than 150 different books and magazines to the LTP № 4 Institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Vitebsk Region.
Scientific and educational editions, modern foreign and domestic prose, historical novels and fiction are among the books. The action took place as a part of charity program «Mercy».
The books were collected by the readers, who are not indifferent to the destiny of people, who, due to circumstances, are being in a difficult life situation. According to the words of librarian of this enterprise Nikolai Khomich, a good book helps to rethink and change a life, to believe in yourself and make a positive change in your life.
