«To Remember in order to Live»

On June 16, the librarians held a thematic meeting «To Remember in order to Live» in the Occupational Therapy Rehabilitation Center № 4 under the MIA Directorate of the Enforcement of Sentences Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, just before the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and Genocide of the Belarusian People.

During the meeting, the undeniable facts of crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices against the civilian population in the occupied territory of Vitebsk and the Vitebsk Region were presented. And what is more, the archive photographic records were shown as evidence of atrocities of the Nazi invaders, such as mass executions, punitive actions, citizens' deportation for work in Germany.
