Presentation of the book «The Genocide of the Belarusian People»

On May 30, a presentation of the book «The Genocide of the Belarusian People», edited by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Shved took place in the library.
The book contains information and analytical materials and documents from the criminal case about the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War and the postwar period, investigated by the General Prosecutor's Office.
The genocide of the Belarusian people is hundreds of tragic stories from the life of each region of the country, the death of millions of Belarusians because of the crimes of the German occupiers and their accomplices.
The event was attended by the Deputy Prosecutor of Vitebsk region, Senior Counselor of Justice Vladimir Guk, Deputy Head of the main ideological work and youth affairs of Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Pyotr Gnutenko, Deputy Director of the State Archives of Vitebsk region Tatyana Buyevich.
In the Year of Historical Memory, the book «The Genocide of the Belarusian People» is a tribute to the memory of the dead and promotes historical justice by strengthening the principle of the unity of the nation, morality and patriotism.
