Library and School: Aspects of Cooperation

On August 26, the specialists of the State Institution «Educational and methodical office of the Pervomaisky district of Vitebsk» held in the library an instructional meeting with elementary school teachers, timed to the beginning of the school year.

The meeting raised a wide range of professional issues, including the perspectives of cooperation between educational institutions and libraries.

The meeting was opened by Svetlana Rusetskaya, Methodist of the Education Department of the Pervomaysky District of Vitebsk. She noted the necessity and importance of cooperation between educational and cultural institutions.

Tatyana Luzan, the head of the Department of social and cultural activity and marketing, during the tour around the library informed the teachers about the history, structure and activities of the institution, told about the joint projects of the city educational institutions and Vitebsk regional library, shared the experience of the library in the library project «Literary lessons for schoolchildren: a new format».

Librarian of the Department of periodicals Elena Bruskova held for the participants of the meeting a bibliographical review of periodicals «To help a teacher».

The event was organized as part of the library project «Library for School».
