Dialogue platform «I am proud of the history of my country»

On August 12, a dialogue platform entitled «I am proud of the history of my country», dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the women's movement in Belarus and the Year of National Unity took place in the library.
The event was organized by the Vitebsk city organization of the public association «Belarusian Union of Women» and the city council of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans.
The staff of the department of local history literature and bibliography organized an exhibition-viewing «We survived and won», dedicated to the tragic pages of the history of the Great Patriotic War, the history of the Vitebsk region, the contribution of Belarusian women to the Victory.
Everyone had an opportunity to participate in the project entitled «Chronicle of memory. Vitebsk» and to place stars with the names of their relatives - participants in the Great Patriotic War in the Book of Memory.
