Meeting of a Board of Directors of Regional and City Public Libraries of Vitebsk Region

On June 23, took place a meeting of a Board of Directors of Regional and City Public Libraries of Vitebsk Region entitled «The organization of public libraries' work in Vitebsk Region. Problems, perspectives, solutions».

Chief Specialist of the Department of Culture of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Zoya Gukova, the Head of State Institution «Vitebsk Regional Library named after V. Lenin» Tatyana Adamyan, the Head of the economic planning sector of the department of culture of Vitebsk regional executive committee Svetlana Spiridonova, heads and specialists of the centralized library systems of the region took part in the seminar.

Special attention was paid to the priorities of the development of public libraries, changes in pay of workers of state-funded organizations, organization of bookmobiles and preparation for participation in professional contests.
