Exhibition opening «The Many Faces of Caissa»

On July 20, the exhibition opening «The Many Faces of Caissa» took place in the public reading hall of the library, associated with the International Chess Day.

The exhibition featured books, periodicals, voiced literature about chess and chess players (among them are our fellow countrymen), together with posters, diplomas, poster boards, souvenirs, state symbols, and other chess paraphernalia.

Mikhail Leshchinsky spoke about Vitebsk open chess tournaments dedicated to famous natives of our land.

The opening was attended by a famous Belarusian chess player, international grand chess master, Andrei Kovalev.
