Excursion for schoolchildren «Library invites you!»

On April 6, the staff of the sector of social and cultural activities and marketing held a library excursion for pupils of the 4th grades of secondary school No. 18 of Vitebsk.
Schoolchildren got acquainted with the history and structure of the library, learned about the genre and thematic diversity of the fund of children's literature department as well as cultural and leisure library events for children. The guys shared their knowledge of correct dealing with books, talked about favorite works and literary heroes, took part in the quiz «By pages of books». Everyone received bookmarks with information about the library as a gift at the end of the event.
Schoolchildren were inspired with new knowledge and impressions and promised to come with their parents in order to register in the library and become true readers.
