Video conferencing «The Spiritual Light will open our hearts»

On March 25, within a goal related program, the «Living Word of Spiritual Wisdom» the event «The Spiritual Light will open our hearts», dedicated to the Day of Orthodox Book took place in the library.
The meeting was held in the form of video conferencing between the Vitebsk Regional Library named after V. Lenin and the Slonim children's library named after A. Pushkin.
Our colleagues from Slonim shared the experience of work, introduced the history of the origin of the Day of the Orthodox book, told about the first handwritten books and their kinds.
Tatyana Potockaya made a survey of facsimile Orthodox books that from the library fund.
Archpriest Alexander Kovalev talked about the Bible, the most important book in our life.
The priest Alexander Kolyada shared the experience of the work of the «Orthodox pathfinders» club, which was organized in the state educational establishment «Vitebsk secondary school № 10».
Anna and Vasilisa Kovalevy presented the guests a song «Tops».
For this event the staff of the general reading room prepared a book exhibition «Light of the Orthodox Book».
