The Informative hour «Online Safety Tips»

On February 10, the staff of the department of the Public Center for Legal Information and the Electronic Reading Room held an informative hour «Online safety tips» for pupils of 2 «B» form of secondary school № 2 in Vitebsk, dedicated to Safer Internet Day, celebrated on the second Tuesday of February.

During the event, librarians talked about tips of responsible and safe behavior on the Internet, reminded children about the principles of polite communication on social networks and careful handling of other people's personal information.

A book exhibition «Meet the Internet! » was prepared for the event. Girls and boys answered the quiz questions. The event was accompanied by an electronic presentation «What does safe Internet mean? » and presentation of cartoon from the series Fixies «Fixie-tips. Be more careful on the Internet». Each participant of the educational hour received a bookmark «Online safety tips».
