On January 25, within the special complex program «Living Words of Spiritual Wisdom», took place an evening «Again January, and again Tatyana's day...!» dedicated to Tatyana's day.

The guests recognized about the history of appearance, customs and traditions of this wonderful winter holiday.

The rector of the Holy Protection Cathedral, the Head of the department for the canonization of saints, Archpriest Alexander Sirotkin, talked about the history of the construction of the St. Tatyana's church in Vitebsk.

Vitebsk poet Oleg Ivanov congratulated all the women celebrating their name day with his new poems.

Library reader Tatyana Larina currently lives in our city. She told those present about the way the famous name influenced her life.

At the end of the evening, the director of the library Tatyana Adamyan congratulated all those present on the occasion.

The meeting was attended by students of the Vitebsk Theological Seminary and students of the Vitebsk State Polytechnic Professional College.

A book exhibition for the holiday was arranged from the library funds.
