The Video Dedicated to Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus

There are significant events in the history of every nation. For our country, such an event is July 3, 1944 – the Day of liberation of the capital of Belarus from Nazi invaders.

The 3rd of July is a symbol of the unity of our society, peace and stability, courage and heroism, intergenerational continuity, respect for traditions, which allows us to preserve and increase all the good and valuable that has been accumulated by older generations for the future.

On Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, the library staff read aloud the poem «Dear Belarus» by the Belarusian poet Petrus Brovka.

We wish peace, prosperity and well-being to our native Belarus!
