«Silhouettes of the Old Vitebsk», the New Book by Yuri Yakimovich

On September 12, a presentation of the book «Silhouettes of the Old Vitebsk: Local History Tour» by Yuri Yakimovich (1946–1994), an architectural historian, was held in the library.

The book is dedicated to historical and architectural monuments of Vitebsk. The author introduces the reader to the history of Vitebsk and ancient monuments in different parts of the city, using numerous printed and archival sources. The book was finalized for publication by Lyudmila Khmelnitskaya. An electronic version of the book is available on the website of Vitebsk Regional Library.
