Regional Headmasters Seminar «Public Library in Modern Society»

On February 5, Regional Headmasters Seminar of district and city libraries of Vitebsk Region «Public Library in Modern Society» took place.

The Chief Specialist of Culture Department at Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Zoya Gukova, the Head of State Institution Vitebsk Regional Library named after V. I. Lenin - Tatyana Adamyan and others heads and specialists of the host library systems of the region are took part in the seminar.

The participants of the seminar got acquainted with the results of public library system work for 2018. Oksana Kulagina, the Head of Orsha Central Library System told about new vectors of public libraries development.

The question of corrective actions was paid to the elimination of violations of anti-corruption legislation, according to the results of the prosecutor's office inspection. The Multimedia resource «Travel Itineraries of Pridvinye» presented by the Vitebsk Central District Library.

During the seminar a round table «Library and time: the future we are creating» dedicated to the anniversary dates of regional libraries, took place.
