On September 29, the library held an information hour «Legal Protection of Older Persons», dedicated to the International Day of Older People, celebrated annually on October 1.

The event was attended by the specialist of the regional center of legal information of Vitebsk region Dmitry Kucherenko and the head of the notary office of Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk № 1 Inessa Gornak.

Dmitry Kucherenko told the audience about the information retrieval system «ETALON» and the Internet resources on legal subjects, printed publications of the National Centre for Legal Information.

Inessa Gornak told about will contracts and donations, about the rights of heirs and the mandatory shares in the inheritance, about the correct execution of a power of attorney and much more, and answered numerous questions from the audience.
