On April 6 the employees of the Department of Foreign Literature arranged an event called «Walt Disney's Wonderful World» for junior high school students of the secondary school No. 18 of Vitebsk, which was timed to the World Cartoon Day.

At the event, the children learned about the work of the American animator Walt Disney, the founder of the multimedia empire «The Walt Disney Company». The young attendees willingly took part in a guessing game where they had to name heroes from different cartoons and played a quest game with Winnie the Pooh. The active part of the event was followed by the demonstration of an episode of Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears.
