Regional Workshop of Directors

The regional workshop of directors of district and municipal networks of public libraries of Vitebsk region «Modern library to the modern user: libraries of the region in the Year of Culture» was held on March 23-24, 2017.
On the first day attending the workshop were Chief Specialist at the Main Department for Ideology, Culture and Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Region Executive Committee D. Yurchak, Head of the Department of Scientific and Organizational Support of library activities N. Zamaeva, Chief Librarian of the Department of Monitoring and Coordination of the Libraries at the National Library of Belarus O. Rynkevich, Deputy Director of the National Center for Legal Information of the Republic of Belarus V. Beketa and Director of the Vitebsk Regional Center for Legal Information L. Dorogova.
Within the framework of the workshop, the winners of the regional contest «The Best Public Center for Legal Information of Vitebsk Region» were awarded, as well as the winners of the regional stage of the republican contest «Library as the Center of National Culture».
The presentations of the books were made by the commercial director of the publishing house «MET» A. Korbut and Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching Arts at the Belarusian State University named after M. Tank and PhD in Study of Arts E. Shatko.
On the 24th of March, the participants of the workshop arranged a creative visit to the State Cultural Institution «Grodno Cultural and Educational Center and the Network of Public Libraries».
