Presentation of Book «E Charam Snittsa Chalavek...» by Anna Novoseltseva

On the 7th of June the library hosted the presentation of the book of mythical narratives «E Charam Snittsa Chalavek...» (Spells Are Dreaming of a Human) by Anna Novoseltseva, a professor at the VSU named after P. M. Masherov. This is the first book of the young author, though her stories could be found on the pages of literary periodicals, anthologies and collected books.
The author introduced the audience to the heroes of her mythical narratives and their prototypes, and gave a short insight into fantasy genre and fantasy authors from different parts of the world.
The presentation was attended by students and graduates of the VSU named after P. M. Masherov who said a lot of warm and kind words to their former and present professor. Hard work, responsibility, apparent talent for writing – these are the qualities of Anna Novoseltseva that has been praised by Vanda Borovko, Doctor of Philology and a professor at the VSU named after P. M. Masherov, and Olga Rusilko, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor at the VSU. Prosaist Franz Sivko reminisced of the first steps of Anna Novoseltseva as an author, and he wished her not to stop creating new characters and to keep on her self-perfection.
The employees of the Department of Local History Literature and Bibliography arranged an exhibition showcasing the works by Anna Novoseltseva.
The author donated to the libraries of Vitebsk region copies of her book «E Charam Snittsa Chalavek...»
