Photo Presentation «Walk Around Vitebsk: The Sights of the Town in the Spotlight»

On the 18th of April the library hosted the awarding ceremony for the participants of the photo presentation «Walk Around Vitebsk: The Sights of the Town in the Spotlight» which was devoted to the International Day for Monuments and Sites.

The presentation comprised 146 photos provided by 23 amateur photographers from Vitebsk, Minsk and Brest. The awarding ceremony was attended by Yuri Shepelev, a local historian, blogger and photographer, and Irina Denisova, a poetess and amateur photographer. The employees of the Department of Foreign Literature, who had launched the project, awarded diplomas to the participants of the presentation. Their photos would be displayed at the hall of the library till April, 30.
